The sequel to 2018’s Venom is upon us, and it promises to be as campy and as dark as the first entry. Venom: Let There Be Carnage follows Eddie Brock as he faces an all new-threat in the form of the villainous Cletus Kasady/Carnage.
Director Ruben Fleischer will not be returning; instead, we’ll see VFX master Andy Serkis stepping into the director’s chair. Tom Hardy returns as both Eddie Brock and the voice of his symbiote partner Venom.
Joining Serkis and Hardy is Woody Harrelson, who’ll take on the role of Cletus Kasady, a serial killer who turns into the dangerous Carnage. Harrelson’s appearance in Venom: Let There Be Carnage was originally teased as the post credits scene of the 2018 original, though he seems to have lost the goofy wig he wore in that scene.
