While the Disney+ MCU shows have given fans more from some of their favourite superheroes, one of the most successful aspects of last year’s Tom Hiddleston starring Loki was the introduction of Owen Wilson as Mobius, so it’s good news for the moustachioed TVA Agent, because the actor has confirmed his return for season 2.
It was while speaking to The Wrap as he promoted his latest release Marry Me that Wilson reluctantly answered a question for their “Auto-Complete Interview”, a section in which actors address the most Googled questions about themselves. One such query was “Is Owen Wilson coming back to Loki?”, to which the French Dispatch star replied “Yes, he is coming back to Loki“.
That wasn’t all Wilson confirmed about Loki Season 2, because he went on to add “And I think we’re gonna start filming that pretty soon. I had a great time working on Loki. I really enjoyed Tom Hiddleston and all the people on that.”
Exciting news on both counts, with Loki‘s imminent return joining a packed small-screen MCU schedule featuring Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Secret Invasion. Let us know what you think of Owen Wilson’s return by heading to our social channels @FlickeringMyth…
Marvel Studios’ “Loki” features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
Loki is available to stream now on Disney+ and features a cast that includes Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sasha Lane, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Deobia Oparei, Jack Veal, Richard E. Grant and Jonathan Majors.
