There’s been a rather mixed response to the trailers for Warner Bros.’ upcoming DC League of Super-Pets animated movie, and we can only imagine a similar reaction to the reveal of the film’s incarnation of the Justice League.
With the movie’s July release fast approaching, promotional artwork has started making its way online which give us a look at the League of Super-Pets suited up as superheroes alongside their metahuman counterparts, the previously seen Batman and Superman as well as fellow Justice Leaguers Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, Green Lantern and Aquaman, along with the villainous Lex Luthor.

In “DC League of Super-Pets,” Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack—Ace the hound, PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle and Chip the squirrel—to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the superheroes.
DC League of Super-Pets features the voice talents of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Keanu Reeves, and Marc Maron.
DC League of Super-Pets is set for release on July 29th 2022.
