The CW recently cancelled Batwoman and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but they aren’t the only shows for the chopping block as the network has cancelled an additional seven shows in Naomi, Charmed, Legacies, Dynasty, The 4400, Roswell, New Mexico and Into The Dark.
Naomi was the CW’s latest DC series from Ava DuVernay. It only just concluded its first season on May 10 and followed the young Naomi McDuffie as she discovered she had super powers. The 4400 also ends after only one season.
The CW’s reboot of Charmed was one of its current longest-running series after four seasons along with Dynasty‘s five season run. While Into The Dark is cancelled, its fourth and final season is set to premiere on June 6. Likewise, Roswell, New Mexico also has its fourth season premiering on June 6.
One of the biggest cancellations though is Legacies. While the series ran for four seasons, it ends the franchise of The Vampire Diaries. Legacies was a spin-off of The Originals, which itself spun out of The Vampire Diaries. With the flagship series having premiered in 2009, Legacies‘ cancellation ends the CW’s 13-year-long run of one of its most popular franchises.
