Jamie Lee Curtis is making the press round for Halloween Ends, but she’s still looking back at some of her iconic 00s work.
During an interview with The View, the actress was asked about making a return to Freaky Friday, the 2003 Disney remake of the 1976 film starring Jodie Foster. Curtis starred alongside Lindsay Lohan, and the film was a success and became a fan-favorite for many.
Curtis says during her interview that she’s open to returning and even asked Disney about another Freaky Friday:
“I’ve already written to Disney, my friends at Disney. I’m in their new Haunted Mansion movie. Let me be the grandma! Let me be the old grandma who switches places. So then Lindsay gets to be the sexy grandma who is still happy with Mark Harmon in all the ways you would be happy with Mark Harmon. And simply, I would like to see Lindsay be the hot grandma, and I would like to see me try to deal with toddlers today. I wanna be a helicopter parent in today’s world, as an old lady.”
Jamie Lee Curtis can currently be seen in Halloween Ends, which is out now in theaters and streaming on Peacock [read our review here], while she also makes an appearance in 2023’s The Haunted Mansion remake from Disney, where she’ll play Madame Leota.
