Marvel’s Vision getting his own Disney+ series titled Vision Quest

October 28, 2022 by EJ Moreno

No, Disney is not planning to reboot the 1985 Vision Quest, but rather Marvel Studios is looking to give the MCU’s Vision his own series and it could follow one of the character’s most iconic comic stories.

The story comes from Jeff Sneider and The Hot Mic podcast, where he reports that Marvel Studios is developing a new series titled Vision Quest, with Paul Bettany’s Vision as the central focus, focussing on the White Vision version of the character seen at the end of WandaVision.

UPDATE: Deadline has now corroborated the report, stating that the series “will be about The Vision (Bettany) trying to regain his memory and humanity” and a writers room will open next week under WandaVision showrunner Jac Schaeffer, who is also overseeing the other WandaVision spinoff Agatha: Coven of Chaos.

As yet, there is no word on a potential appearance from Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, although Deadline describes it as a “possibility” that the Scarlet Witch could make her MCU return post-Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
