We knew he was coming, and Lucasfilm has kicked off Star Wars Celebration 2023 today by teasing the arrival of the Heir to the Empire, a.k.a. Grand Admiral Thrawn, with the release of the first trailer for Star Wars: Ahsoka.
The series sees Rosario Dawson reprising her The Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett role as Ahsoka, and the trailer also gives us our first look at live-action versions of Star Wars Rebels’ Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and Chopper, along with a couple of Dark Jedi (?) played by Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sahkno. Ahsoka premieres on Disney+ August 2023.
