PC gamers can hop into the worlds of Jules Verne in Assemble Entertainment and developer Gametopia’s narrative adventure Verne: The Shape of Fantasy. Currently available from Steam and GOG, Verne: The Shape of Fantasy will have players join Jules Verne as he seeks out the mysterious source of Atlantis’ power.
Verne: The Shape of Fantasy whisks players away to an alternate 1888 where they will join Jules Verne in trying to stop a war against the vicious ‘Nation’ that is threatening to destroy the land of Hemera. Joined by Captain Nemo and his crew, players will set off in search of a powerful ancient artefact rumoured to be able to change the course of history.
Throughout the adventure there will be plenty of curious puzzles to solve, and should things not go according to plan, players will be able to make use of Verne’s IMAG device, which will allow them to rewrite history.
