With its slow and steady race to box-office success, Disney & Pixar’s new film Elemental is also dominating the streaming space.
Per a new report from Disney, Elemental saw 26.4 million views in its first five days of release, putting it in its Top 10 movie premieres of all time.
This also puts the latest Pixar release as the most-viewed animated movie premiere since last year’s Turning Red. Also, Disney notes this is the most successful movie premiere of all time in Latin America.
Disney is seemingly offering up its numbers more and more these days, noting how well The Little Mermaid did upon its release.

Disney notes when it comes to the streaming views for Elemental, The Little Mermaid, and other projects: “A view is defined as total stream time divided by runtime.”
In a city where fire, water, land, and air residents live together, a fiery young woman and a go-with-the-flow guy are about to discover something elemental: how much they actually have in common.
The film features the voice talents of Leah Lewis as Ember; Mamoudou Athie as Wade; Ronnie del Carmen as Ember’s soon-to-be retired dad, Bernie; Shila Ommi as Ember’s love-seeking mom, Cinder; Wendi McLendon-Covey as Wade’s stormy and Air-Ball-loving boss, Gale; Catherine O’Hara as Wade’s welcoming mom, Brook; Mason Wertheimer as Ember’s admiring earth neighbor, Clod; and Joe Pera as an overgrown city bureaucrat, Fern.
Elemental is now streaming on Disney+.
