Sony has released a new trailer for Insomniac’s anticipated sequel Spider-Man 2, teasing the team-up between Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they take on their new enemy Venom.
Very little has been revealed about Spider-Man 2 plotwise, save Peter will gain the alien symbiote and it will eventually transfer to its next host as Venom, voiced and motion-captured by Candyman icon Tony Todd. The game will feature Kraven The Hunter leading a group of mercenaries to hunt down both Spider-Men and other superpowered creatures like The Lizard.
Returning characters from the first Spider-Man include Mr. Negative, Norman Osborn, former police detective Yuri Watanabe now as the vigilante Wraith while Harry Osborn will be given a full role after his voiceover side quests and cameos in Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Spider-Man 2 will also expand the open world of the game and include New York districts Brooklyn and Queens. Watch the new trailer below…
