The camp icon John Waters is best known for his wild and raunchy films, but he’s also a hilariously fun actor.
Cameoing in everything from Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, the filmmaking legend is heading back to one of the campiest slasher franchises ever.
In a new report from Entertainment Weekly, Waters will cameo in the upcoming second half of Chucky Season 3, with the outlet reporting that “Waters will play Wendell Wilkins, the reclusive creator of the Good Guy dolls, who gets drawn into the psychopathic Chucky’s tangled web on an episode of Chucky season 3, Part 2.”

This marks John Waters’ second appearance in the Chucky universe, first appearing in 2004’s Seed of Chucky as a tabloid photographer named Pete Peters, who dies by sulphuric acid.
