Marking Star Wars Day, May the 4th, Lucasfilm has given fans a new look at the next instalment of the franchise as we travel back to the age before The Phantom Menace for the live-action High Republic-era series Star Wars: The Acolyte.
Described as a mystery-thriller and taking place 100 years prior to the start of the Skywalker Saga, the series has been created by Leslye Headland (Russian Doll) and features Amandla Stenberg (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse), Lee Jung-Jae (Squid Game), Dafne Keen (Logan) and Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) among its cast.
