Gareth Edwards’ upcoming Star Wars spin-off Rogue One has found itself a new cast member, with Variety reporting that Diego Luna (Elysium) has joined the film in a lead role, although details of his character are being kept under wraps.
Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One will tell the story of a group of rebels out to steal the plans to the Death Star, with Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything) set to play a rebel soldier. Luna and Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler) are both thought to be playing rebels, while Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises) will star as the main villain. Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games) has also been linked to the film, although his casting is yet to be confirmed.
