Brick-breaker Doughlings: Arcade comes to Steam this May

April 18, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer Hero Concept have announced that their latest game, Doughlings: Arcade, will be arriving on Steam in May for PC and Mac.  The game is also planned for release on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch at a later date.  Doughlings: Arcade is an arcade brick breaker that places a unique fun twist on the classic genre.  You can check out the game’s release trailer below…

Doughlings: Arcade takes the traditional gameplay of brick breakers and adds a fun new twist with a fresh take on power ups, character evolution and level design.  Players will take the role of Morpheus who is tasked with healing as many of his fellow Doughlings as possible.  Characters can be evolved by unlocking additional personas which are activated by collecting DNA within each level and provide a unique ‘Show Off’ trait.  These ‘Show Off’ traits replace the traditional power ups and will provide alternate gameplay and humorous animations.

There are 90 levels of varying difficulties awaiting players but if those aren’t enough there is also a level creation feature.  Player designed levels can then be shared online to provide a near endless amount of play.

You can meet Morpheus in Doughlings: Arcade this May.
