Platformer Light Fall arrives on PC, Mac and Switch next week

April 18, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Canadian indie games studio Bishop Games have announced their latest title, Light Fall, will be released on the PC, Mac and Nintendo Switch on 26th April.  Light Fall is a 2D platformer with a unique game mechanic, compelling storyline and captivating art style.  You can check out the game’s release trailer below…

In Light Fall players follow a young boy through the perilous land of Numbra.  Joined by his  magical Shadow Core and his grumpy owl companion Stryx, the young hero will set out on a quest to be reunited with his dearest friend who vanished in the night.

The game will feature:

  • The Shadow Core, a magical box that can be used and controlled to propel yourself into the air and move across the land.
  • Stryx is an old and grumpy owl and the in-game narrator.  Depending on his mood, he will either offer useful advice or bluntly mock your failures.
  • A vast world to explore with strange and wonderful places such as the Lunar Plain, the Marshlands of Sorrows, the Vipera’s Forest and the Unknown Depths.
  • A Speedrun Mode where players can compete with players worldwide and compare their fastest times with others on an online leaderboard.

Light Fall will be available on Steam and the Nintendo eShop on 26th April.
