Bloody Disguting is reporting that Sunn Classic Pictures is developing a reboot of the 1983 Stephen King adaptation Cujo, which will be going by the title of C.U.J.O. – standing for ‘Canine Unit Joint Operations’.
According to the site, Sunn Pictures President and CEO Lang Elliott is set to direct the film, which will star DJ Perry (Ashes of Eden). No further details are available at present.
Based on Stephen King’s 1981 novel about a mother and son who find themselves trapped in a car after being attacked by a rabid St. Bernard. The original film was directed by Lewis Teague (Cat’s Eye) and starred Dee Wallace.
