Rick and Morty fans concerned by the lack of news on season four can now breathe easy, as co-creator Justin Roiland has revealed on Twitter that Adult Swim has ordered 70 new episodes of the hit animated series. Based on the show’s previous format of ten episodes per season, that means we’ve got another seven seasons to look forward to!

Following the announcement, Dan Harmon also posted his own announcement video on Instagram, where he and Hoiland can be seen sharing a shower in preparation for getting back to work.

As for when we might expect to see some new episodes, show writer Ryan Ridley stated back in January that he didn’t expect to see a fourth season ready to air any sooner than late 2019.
