The beloved PvP Warcraft battlefield of Alterac Valley will be making its way on to Heroes of the Storm as Alterac Pass arrives on the 19th June. This is a new three lane battleground that will see the long standing rivalry between the Alliance and Horde come to a head through a series of quests. Three new videos can be seen below showing an overview of the battleground and an insight into new Hero, Yrel…
Alterac Pass is a key location in the Alterac mountains and is the focus of intense battles between the two warring factions. Players will choose their side and set out to invade their enemies territories, free prisoners from the prison camps and use their cavalry to take out enemy generals. Once capture, prison camps will have to be well guarded as they can easily be recaptured by enemy heroes. Victory will reward players with new heroes, portraits, banners and mounts.
As well as the iconic battleground there will also be a new Warcraft Hero entering the fray called Yrel who is the first ever Draenei to enter the Nexus.
The longstanding rivalry between the Alliance and Horde is coming to a head in the Nexus as each faction vies for control over a key location in the Alterac Mountains. Invade enemy territory, free allied prisoners, call in the cavalry, and claim this three-lane Battleground for your General—but watch out for those treacherous mud pits!
Keep a look out for Alterac Pass coming to Heroes of the Storm from 19th June.
