Fox and Marvel Television have announced that they are bringing the X-Men TV series The Gifted to next month’s San Diego Comic-Con with a panel showcasing season two of the mutant superhero drama.
The panel is set to take place on Saturday, July 21st, and will feature executive producers Matt Nix and Jeph Loeb and stars Stephen Moyer, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind and Skyler Samuels.
The announcement also comes with a brief synopsis teasing the second season:
“The 20th Century Fox Television/Marvel series picks up after the explosion of the Atlanta Station. The Mutant Underground search for their friends and family who left with The Inner Circle. Having tracked them outside of Washington, D.C., they must contend with new groups with extreme ideologies, both human and mutant alike, to stave off a brewing conflict.”

Although Marvel Studios is sitting out Comic-Con, it has been announced that Marvel Television will also be holding an Iron Fist season two panel (which may also include Daredevil season three and The Punisher season two), while Sony Pictures is also showcasing its Venom and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse features.
