Bossa Studios have released a new trailer teasing an upcoming Nintendo Switch version of their popular surgical simulation game Surgeon Simulator. First released for the PC back in 2013, Surgeon Simulator became a huge success for channels on Youtube, and was followed by a PS4 and mobile editions in 2014.
The trailer states there is ‘Bone Shattering News’ to announce and shows a hand fumbling over a shelf to turn off the light using a Switch (see what they did there?). There’s also the promise of more news coming very soon.
Surgeon Simulator is a very darkly humoured operation sim that puts players in the role of incompetent surgeon Nigel Burke as he performs life saving surgery on a variety of patients using less than professional items. Whether he succeeds or fails is up to how well the player controls his shaky hands.
Are you a budding surgeon with a taste for operating with a sick sense of humour? If so, leave a comment below and share your thoughts.
Surgeon Simulator is a darkly humorous over-the-top operation sim game where players become Nigel Burke, a would-be surgeon taking life into his own shaky hands, performing life-saving surgical maneuvers on a passive patient.
