Egypt III: The Fate of Ramses

Ancient Egypt has always been regarded as being mysterious, dangerous and adventurous. The massive pyramids which has been constructed by ancient Egyptians have always intrigued scholars of all age. Hollywood film have capitalised on the popularity of Ancient Egypt by showing the beauty of Egypt through settings for various popular films such as Tomb Raider, Stargate, The Mummy, and Raiders of the Lost Ark. If you have a keen interest in Ancient Egyptian culture, there is no more fun and entertaining way to learn about this civilisation than by playing Egypt III: The Fate of Ramses. This unique PC game which has a documentary database was published back in 2004 by The Adventure Company. Egypt III: The Fate of Ramses is a visual treat even though it was released a decade ago, and it still has a unique charm when played.

There are even popular games that have been themed on Ancient Egypt, such as Tutankhamun that has been developed by the top gaming provider Realistic Games. Ramses has appointed Maya, the young trusted priestess to solve the mystery behind and to save his life.

In Egyptian Prophecy, you will take the form of Maya the clairvoyant to set out on a journey along the Nile and explore various majestic locations such as the labyrinth of Ptah, Memphis, and Kartak. You will also be interacting with various characters, including gods such as Ptah, Isis, Seth and Osiris. Using the customised game interface and inventory, you may perform ancient Egyptian rituals or concoct sacred potions. You will also have to solve various 3D puzzles in magnificent landscapes, while you can refer to the in-game documentary database where you will find information about Egyptian mythology, ancient artifacts and monuments, historically accurate details on rituals.

This game is entirely controlled with the mouse, and as you progress through this game as Maya, you acquire various spells that would help you to achieve the goals and objective of the game. The game boasts of great colourful graphics, while its animation is very fluid. Overall Egypt III: The Fate of Ramses is very entertaining and will most probably enrich your knowledge about ancient Egypt by providing accurate facts.
