Indie developer The Voxel Agents have announced that they will be bringing their adventure puzzle game The Gardens Between to the Nintendo Switch later this year. The game is set to be released alongside the PlayStation 4, Windows and Mac versions that had been previously announced at Gamescom. A new trailer for this upcoming puzzler can be seen below…
Join Arina and Frendt through a series of surreal dreamlike island gardens littered with a variety of everyday objects that have significance between the two friends. As they go on their journey they will discover more about their friendship, its past and its future. As players travel through these worlds solving the puzzles they will light up constellations of memories that will reveal more of the bittersweet narrative.
With the Nintendo Switch edition players can follow the journey of Arina and Frendt on the go while the HD Rumble feature will bring the game world to life.
“The Gardens Between is an homage to the friendships from our childhoods that felt so impossibly large that the bonds could never be broken,” says Simon Joslin, co-founder of The Voxel Agents. “We took inspiration from our own childhoods when building the narrative of The Gardens Between. We wanted to tap into something relatable, familiar and nostalgic. The magic of being a kid is fleeting, but the story of Arina and Frendt captures that enchantment in a beautiful package.”

The Gardens Between will be available on the Nintendo Switch this autumn, however, if you are attending Pax West this year you will get the opportunity to get hands on with the game.
