Fantasy survival game Rend arrives on Steam Early Access this month

July 13, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer Frostkeep Studios have announced that they will be launching the beta of their new fantasy survival game Rend on Steam Early Access on the 31st July.   This faction based survival game will see players align themselves with one of three factions and battle it out over a Norse mythology inspired world.  A new Early Access trailer can be seen below…

The world of Rend is a harsh realm where three rival factions will build their strongholds and battle each other and the brutal mythological beasts that roam the wilds.  Rend’s landscape in filled with danger but valuable resources and powerful artifacts lay hidden and await discovery.

Rend features a deep talent trees and skill system that provides players with the freedom to play how they want but only by working together can a faction be declared the winner when the cycle ends.

“Early access marks a pivotal moment for Frostkeep Studios,” said Jeremy Wood, co-founder and CEO, Frostkeep Studios. “We have been developing Rend side-by-side with our players since we first announced the game and are grateful for the invaluable feedback they provided to help shape Rend into what it has become today: the game they want to play,” said Jeremy Wood, co-founder and CEO, Frostkeep Studios.

Rend arrives on Steam Early Access at the end of the month.
