Casting continues on Jordan Peele’s Get Out follow-up Us, with Deadline reporting that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Get Down) and Anna Diop (24: Legacy) have joined the cast of the film.
Pot details for the film – described as “a new nightmare” – are being kept tightly under wraps, but Peele is quickly assembling his cast, having already secured Black Panther stars Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale) and Tim Heidecker (Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories).
Both Mateen and Diop have DC Comics roles on the horizon, with the former portraying Black Manta in December’s Aquaman movie, and the latter appearing as Starfire in the DC universe series Titans.
