Last week, Disney kicked off the casting on its upcoming live-action Lady and the Tramp remake, announcing that Justin Theroux (The Spy Who Dumped Me) will lend his voice to the titular Tramp, with Ashley Jensen (Extras) as Scottish Terrier Jackie.
Well, we now have word of another possible addition, with Variety reporting that Kiersey Clemons (Hearts Beat Loud) is in talks to portray the live-action role of Darling, the owner of Lady, who loses interest in her pet pooch after having a baby.
In a further possible addition to the film, That Hashtag Show claims that Sam Elliott (The Ranch) will lend his voice to the old police dog Trusty.
The LEGO Ninjago Movie helmer Charlie Bean is directing Lady and the Tramp, which is being produced for Disney’s upcoming streaming service alongside a live-action remake of another animated classic, The Sword in the Stone.
