Focus Home Interactive and developer Tindalos Interactive have announced that Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 will now arrive for PC in January 2019. Originally scheduled for release this September, the additional months will allow Tindalos to polish the game and add extra content. Alongside this announcement, a new trailer has been released showcasing the various factions and some of the spectacular vessels that will appear in game. Watch this trailer below…
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 offers 3 narrative campaigns and 12 playable factions but with the extra time for development, Tindalos will be able to make all three narrative campaigns playable in co-op multiplayer. There will also be not one but two pre-order betas for players to enjoy.
Set after the events of the Gathering Storm which wreaked havoc upon theWarhammer 40,000 universe, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 will feature every faction of the original Battlefleet Gothic tabletop game and will feature new ships and and new lore for this later setting. So, if you are a devout follower of the Tau’s greater good or a Chaos Cultist seeking blood for the blood god then there will be a fleet for you to fight across the Gothic sector.
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is available for pre-order on Steam, currently with a 10% discount. Those who own the original Battlefleet Gothic: Armada on Steam can benefit from a 25% loyalty discount on their preorder.
