John Krasinski also played the part of the monster in A Quiet Place.
The former Office star John Krasinski was a busy man on this year’s hit horror film A Quiet Place, not only directing the movie but starring in it too.
But this wasn’t his only involvement on set as the actor has now revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live that he was also the actor behind the film’s terrifying monster, given its full due in that tense final scene:
“Nobody knows it because I’ve kept it [a secret]. This is gonna end my career. Yeah, the commitment level was very high. The amazing people at ILM, said, ya know, ‘So how does the creature move?’ So I said, ‘Well, this is how I think he’s gonna crawl.’ And they just said, ‘Well, why don’t you throw on the suit?’ And I was like, ‘Totally!”
Krasinski’s segment on Kimmel also included photographic evidence of the actor playing the part, just in case the audience didn’t believe it.
