Back in August, it was announced that Warner Bros. TV was looking to revive the classic 80s family sitcom ALF, with original series writers Tom Patchett and Paul Fusco on board.
Well, it now appears that said plans have been scrapped, as TV Line is reporting that: “Cats far and wide can breathe a sigh of relief: I’m hearing the proposed reboot is not moving forward at this time after failing to attract a suitor.”
ALF followed Gordon Shumway, an ‘Alien Life Form’ from the planet Melmac who found himself taken in by a middle-class surburban family after crashing his spaceship into their garage. The series ran for four seasons between 1986 and 1990, and was followed by the TV movie Project ALF in 1996.
