Xbox Games with Gold for December 2018 revealed

November 27, 2018 by Andrew Newton

December’s Games with Gold have been announced and there’s something a little different about the line up, particularly the inclusion of an original Xbox game.  It’s still a pretty good game but will it still look as good when it’s blazing out from your Xbox One?

First on the list for Xbox One is Q.U.B.E. 2 by Toxic Games.  This sequel to the hit first-person puzzle game puts players in the role of Amelia Cross, a stranded archaeologist in an ancient alien landscape.  Players will need to solve the puzzles to find a way back home.  Q.U.B.E. 2 will be available for the whole of December.

Running from 16th December to 15th January is Never Alone, a puzzle platforming adventure that allows players to swap between an Iñupiaq girl named Nuna and her Arctic fox companion.

For the Xbox 360 (and also Xbox One) is action RPG Dragon Age II.  This hit sequel sees players become Hawke, a refugee seeking to escape the land of Felderen and become Champion of Kirkwall.  It’s up to players to secure his place in history.

Finally, for the second half of December is Mercenaries which was first released back on the Xbox and PS2 back in 2005.  This open world title gave players the task of hunting down several military forces over a huge map.  It was pretty good back in the day but has it stood the test of time?

As always, your thoughts and opinions about the month’s line up of games is always appreciated.
