Jason Momoa apparently received advice on playing Aquaman from Magneto himself, Michael Fassbender.
There is a certain fellowship among comic book movie actors and this seems to include Magneto actor Michael Fassbender and Jason Momoa as the former offered the Aquaman star some acting advice.
Speaking to RTE while promoting Aquaman, Momoa revealed that the X-Men star offered him some inspirational advice. Momoa said that Fassbender suggested that he put himself into the character whenever possible:
“He really told me to put in moments of me and find those moments that you can put you in the film so that it can shine through.”
When asked if he took the advice, Momoa humorously responded: “Unfortunately, yes.”
We will see if Fassbender’s wisdom paid off when Aquaman hits cinemas later this month. Let us know how you think Momoa’s performance will stack up with his past turns as the character…
