The upcoming Men in Black spinoff now has an official title, with Sony Pictures announcing at Brazil’s Comic Con Experience that the Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson-headlined film is going by Men in Black: International.
We’ve known for a while now that Thor: Ragnarok co-stars Hemsworth and Thompson’s MiB agents would be based out of a London branch, so the title certainly makes sense whilst also teasing an adventure on a global scale.
Men in Black: International sees F. Gary Gray (The Fate of the Furious) directing from a script by Matt Holloway and Art Marcum (Iron Man) while the cast also includes Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick), Liam Neeson (Taken), Rafe Spall (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) and Rebecca Ferguson (Misson: Impossible – Fallout).
Emma Thompson also reprises her role as Agent O from Men in Black III, tying the spinoff into the original trilogy, although neither Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones are expected to make any kind of appearance.
