It looks like the zombie virus is going airborne, with Entertainment Weekly revealing that AMC is developing a half-hour standalone special of The Walking Dead that will take place on an airline flight.
The site reports that the special will revolve around a group of passengers facing a walker attack, with one of the survivors then joining the cast of the companion series Fear the Walking Dead for its second season.
Apparently, the special will debut online, as well as unfolding in chapters during the commercial breaks of The Walking Dead on AMC.
