Gal Gadot has thanked Zack Snyder for believing in her as Wonder Woman and casting her in the part.
Why Gal Gadot has gone onto have wonderful success in the role of Wonder Woman, particularly in her own solo film, this wasn’t always guaranteed, especially with the lackluster reception of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Zack Snyder always knew she could play the role, however, and Gadot has taken to social media, reflecting on her journey so far and thanking Snyder for giving her a chance:
“Wow, this image takes me back! The amazing Zack Snyder took it on the first day we ever met. He believed I could be a superhero. Then I became Wonder Woman! #icansoidid”
