As filming on Zombieland 2: Double Tap continues, Variety is reporting that Luke Wilson has become the latest addition to the cast of the long-awaited sequel tot he hit 2009 horror-comedy.
Details on Wilson’s role are being kept under wraps, but the actor joins returning stars Woody Harrelson (Tallahassee), Jesse Eisenberg (Columbus), Emma Stone (Wichita) and Abigail Breslin (Little Rock) along with new additions Rosario Dawson (Luke Cage), Zoey Deutch (Flower), Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley) and Avan Jogia (Now Apocalypse).
In Zombieland 2: Double Tap, “the zombie killers must face off against new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. They have to also face the growing pains of their own makeshift family.”
Zombieland 2: Double Tap reunites original director Ruben Fleisher (Venom) with screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool), and is set for release on October 11th 2019.
