Boyd Holbrook, Kelly Reilly and Alistair Petrie to star in period horror Eight for Silver

April 7, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Anthropoid director Sean Eillis has enlisted Boyd Holbrook (The Predator), Kelly Reilly (Yellowstone), and Alistair Petrie (Sex Education) to star in his 19th-century set horror Eight for Silver.

Produced by LD Entertainment, the film takes place in the French countryside in the 1800s and sees Holbrook as John McBride, a pathologist tasked with determining whether the boy of a young boy found in the works was the work of man or beast. McBride finds himself welcomed into the home of a wealthy landowner (Petrie) and his wife (Reilly), where he learns that the couple’s son, a friend of the victim, has also been missing for several weeks.

Filming on Eight for Silver is set to get underway this month in France, with Mickey Liddell and Pete Shilaimon of LD producing.
