With the hush about to descend upon set sometime this summer, as John Krasinski steps behind the camera once again for his A Quiet Place sequel, Bloody Disgusting have confirmed that the release has been bumped from its original May 15, 2020 date.
Ordinarily you’d think this might mean a delay for the further adventure of the Abbots, but the positive news is that A Quiet Place 2 will now arrive two months earlier on March 20th, 2020.
Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe have all been confirmed to reprise their roles from the $340 million grossing original, while Cillian Murphy has also been added to the cast.
Krasinski had originally been teasing that the sequel would go in a completely different direction, exploring the world of A Quiet Place from another perspective, but has since spoken about how this is a continuation of the story, rather than a straightforward sequel.
