Chaos Campaign expansion warps on to Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 later this month

June 5, 2019 by Andrew Newton

The universe of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 will be getting bigger on 24th June as developer  Tindalos Interactive will be releasing the Chaos Campaign Expansion.  Also releasing alongside this massive new DLC is a free update bringing highly requested features to single player.  A new trailer (see below) introduces Malos Vrykan, servant to the dark gods.

The upcoming Chaos Campaign Expansion places the powers of Chaos into the hands of players.  Players will take control of the Chaos fleets and devastate all that lies before them in a whole new story with new missions, new campaign mechanics and much more.

Released alongside this expansion will be a free new update that enriches every campaign with additional secondary objectives for each map.  There will also be new campaign settings that allow players to customise every aspect of the campaign, and vary the difficulty.  These settings will include larger fleets, economy options and the ability to disable certain features for a more narrative focused gaming experience.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2, the definitive video game adaptation of Games Workshop’s incredible space battle game, is getting bigger, better, and more spectacular with the new Chaos Campaign Expansion revealed in today’s Teaser Trailer, and releasing on June 24. This massive DLC, arriving alongside a free patch filled with updates to the game’s single-player offerings, delivers the most requested new feature of the game: a fully playable Chaos Grand Campaign, letting you take the role of the galaxy’s worst nightmares as they raze the galaxy.

Look out for the Chaos Campaign Expansion arriving on 24th June.
