First trailer for Villains starring Bill Skarsgard and Maika Monroe

August 22, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its theatrical release next month, a poster and trailer have arrived online for writer-directors Dan Berk and Robert Olsen’s upcoming dark comedy thriller Villains. The film stars Maika Monroe and Bill Skarsgard as a pair of amateur criminals who break into a suburban home, only to find themselves confronted by its sadistic owners ( Jeffrey Donovan and Kyra Sedgwick) who are harbouring a dark secret; check them out here…

Mickey and Jules are lovers on the run, headed southbound for a fresh start in the Sunshine State. When their car dies after a gas station robbery, they break into a nearby house looking for a new set of wheels. What they find instead is a dark secret and a sweet-as-pie pair of homeowners who will do anything to keep it from getting out.

Villains is set for release on September 20th.
