Deadline has exclusively revealed that Anna Kendrick is set to headline the crime thriller Unsound from director Bharat Nalluri (Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, The Man Who Invented Christmas) and screenwriters Matthew Ross and Christopher Edwards.

The film will see Kendrick portraying a New England state trooper with irreversible hearing loss who is “tasked with investigating the prison break of a notorious gang leader.
