September 10, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Amazon is filling out the cast of its superhero drama series The Boys, with Deadline reporting that Timeless stars Goran Visnjic and Claudia Doumit have signed on for recurring roles in the second season of the comic book adaptation.

Based on the comics by Garth Ennis and Darrick Robertson and executive produced by Erik Kripke, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, The Boys follows a group of vigilantes who target corrupt superheroes who abuse their abilities and celebrity status.

Visnjic will play Alistair Adana, described as “the charismatic and shadowy leader of a mysterious church”, while Doumit has been cast in the role of wunderkind congresswoman Victoria Neuman.
