Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill are all reprising their respective roles from Jurassic Park in the next instalment in the Jurassic World series.
Jurassic World 3 director Colin Trevorrow revealed the news that Dern will be returning as paleobotanist Dr. Ellie Sattler, Goldblum will play Dr. Ian Malcolm (who made a brief cameo in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), and Neill will once again play palaeontologist Dr. Alan Grant at a screening of Jurassic World hosted by Collider.
The original trio will be joining returning stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard along with director Colin Trevorrow. Trevorrow is set to producing the third instalment with franchise creator Steven Spielberg. Plot details are currently being kept under wraps but the script is being co-written by Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim: Uprising) from a story by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly who also co-wrote Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
