Last week, director Colin Treverrow announced Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neill will reprise their respective roles from the original Jurassic Park in the third instalment of the Jurassic World franchise.
Now, according to sources of ET, the child actors from the original film, Joseph Mazzello and Ariana Richards, are both open to returning for the final film in the Jurassic World franchise but there are currently no active discussions.
In Jurassic Park, Mazzello and Richards portrayed Tim and Lex Murphy respectively, who are the grandchildren of the park’s owner John Hammond (Richard Attenborough). Both actors made a cameo in the sequel The Lost World but have not appeared in the franchise since.
