Michael Caine (King of Thieves), Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) and pop star Rita Ora (Fifty Shades of Grey) have signed on to appear in Twist, a “modern-day, gender-bending” adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist.
The Sky-produced movie will see Jude Law’s son Raff Law taking on the title role of Oliver, a streetwise kid living on the streets of modern-day London, who is propelled into a high-stakes heist to steal a priceless painting for master thief Fagin (Caine) and his psychopathic business partner Sikes (Headey) after a chance meeting with Dodge (Ora) and her gang of grifters.
Martin Owen (Killers Anonymous) is directing from a script by John Wrathall (The Liability) and filming is set to get underway in London this year, with Franz Drameh (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), Sophie Simnett (The Lodge) and David Walliams (Little Britain) also starring.
