Taron Egerton’s 2016 schedule has become a little clearer, with Robin Hood: Origins set to move into a late summer shooting slot in order to make way for Egerton to finish Kingsman 2 in Spring.

Earlier this month, it became clear that Egerton was facing a scheduling conflict between the two tentpole pictures, but The Hollywood Reporter has said that the conflict is now resolved.
Kingsman 2 producer Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass) took advantage of his option on Egerton for the action sequel’s April shoot, forcing Robin Hood: Origins to either move or recast.
Lionsgate subsequently shifted their timetable to allow Egerton to make Robin Hood: Origins when his commitments to Vaughn’s film are over later in the summer months.
This whole fiasco might have caused chaos for the studios, but it can only be good for Egerton, who is rapidly becoming one of the most in-demand young actors in Hollywood.
