Netflix’s comic book adaptation October Faction gets a first trailer

Netflix has released a trailer and key art for its upcoming supernatural drama October Faction ahead of its arrival on the streaming service later this month. Based on IDW and Steve Niles’ comic book series of the same name, the series follows monster hunters Fred and Deloris Allen (J.C. MacKenzie and Tamara Taylor) as they return to their hometown with their teenage children (Gabriel Darku and Aurora Burghart) and try to hide their identities as members of a secret organisation; take a look below…

Building on the success of the IDW comic, October Faction follows globetrotting monster hunters Fred and Deloris Allen who, after the death of Fred’s father, return to their hometown in New York with their children Geoff and Viv. In their new small-town setting, the family must adjust and assimilate while Fred and Deloris try to hide their identities as members of a secret organization. As the Fred and Deloris become reacquainted with their old hometown and the secrets buried there, Geoff and Viv are forced to integrate into a place they’re unaccustomed to. Geoff deals with the close mindedness of a local bully and the more reserved Viv tries to make friends in high school.

October Faction arrives on Netflix on January 23rd.
