Steve Rogers may have passed on his shield to Sam Wilson at the end of Avengers: Endgame, but it seems that the United States government may have different plans for Captain America judging by the latest set photos from Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
As you can see in the images below, we’ve got our first look at Wyatt Russell’s John Walker, a.k.a. U.S. Agent, who is seemingly being presented with Cap’s shield by the Department of Defense.
So, is this our new Captain America?! It would certainly appear so, at least initially – although one would suspect that we’ll also be seeing Anthony Mackie’s Falcon suiting up as Cap by the series end.

Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is slated to premiere on Disney+ in the Fall of 2020 with a cast that includes MCU veterans Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter), Daniel Bruhl (Zemo) and new additions Wyatt Russell (Overlord), Adepero Oduye (The Big Short), Desmond Chiam (Now Apocalypse) and Miki Ishikawa (The Terror: Infamy).
