Publisher and developer Garena has announced that the Wasteland Survivors Event will be coming to Free Fire this week. This event will introduce new features including challenges that will reward with the BORDERLANDS skin, a new fragments/ character system, new character and training grounds mode and the Kalahari desert map that will be permanent and fully accessible. Pre-registration runs until tomorrow (25th February) and those who pre-register will be rewarded with five Incubator Royale vouchers once they log in before February 27th.
In the Wasteland Survivors event players will fight through a world with a post-apocalyptic theme as they are taken to a ravaged spawn island featuring a collapsed stage, a damaged big screen and debris spread throughout.
The event preheat will bring back Cold Steel Mode and this will start on 25th February and run until 1st March as well as a shooting map drop taking place from February 26th through March 4th. This map drop will have players search for a special sculpture that needs to be broken to collect Black Skull tokens. These tokens can be redeemed between March 1st through March 3rd to earn the BORDERLANDS female set.
Kicking off on 1st March is Peak Day, which brings a new Bomb Mode that has one team trying to detonate a bomb and the other trying to prevent its detonation.
From 27th February to 9th March, players will be able to take part in a special Charge-it-up Web Event that provides a number of in-game missions.
Be sure to take advantage of this event and make sure to get those rewards.
