Rosario Dawson’s reported role in The Mandalorian as Ahsoka Tano is rumoured to be part of a multi-show contact.
Rosario Dawson’s alleged casting in The Mandalorian as a live-action Ahsoka was pretty big news for Star Wars fans. However, the reports are still unconfirmed as Lucasfilm hasn’t yet announced anything officially.
Now we have another rumour to add on top as The Direct is reporting that Dawson’s contract is for multiple shows. Now, before (too late) fans start to think Ahsoka will certainly turn up in numerous different Disney+ shows – like the Obi-Wan series and Cassian Andor prequel – it’s common for actors to be signed up to deals like this so the studio can utilise them in the future if need be.
As for the report itself, take a read for yourself: “According to our contributing insider Daniel Richtman, Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano contract is reportedly a multi-show deal. For reference, this is a unique type of contract seen most often with MCU actors and actresses who have signed onto other film and show properties in the past. This is not a confirmation that Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano will indeed appear in other Disney+ shows, rather, that Lucasfilm is potentially interested in having her character make future appearances in other shows, thus including this clause in the contract.”
