The upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series based around Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘s Rebel spy Cassian Andor has just added four actors to star alongside the returning Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Rogue One’s Genevieve O’Reilly will return to the galaxy far, far away with newcomer Denise Gough (The Kid Who Would Be King) while the previously reported Stellan Skarsgard (Chernobyl) and Kyle Soller (101 Dalmation Street) are now both officially on board.
O’Reilly will reprise her Rogue One as former Senator-turned Rebel leader Mon Mothma as she attempts to build the Rebel Alliance. O’Reilly had actually first portrayed Mon Mothma much earlier for Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, though her scenes ended up being cut and included as deleted scenes on the various home releases. O’Reilly would go on to also voice Mothma in Star Wars Rebels.
Diego Luna will reprise his role as Cassian Andor, which is said to take place five years before the events of Rogue One, with Alan Tudyk also returning as Andor’s faithful droid K-2S0. There is no word yet on who Gough, Skarsgard and Soller will portray.
