The pair behind the upcoming film Free Guy will join together for an all-new romp as Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy look to star and direct respectively in a forthcoming movie once going by the title Our Name Is Adam.
While no new title is confirmed at the time of reporting, it’s said that Reynolds will star as a man who must travel back in time to get help from his 13-year-old self. The pair will then encounter their late father, who is now the same age as Reynolds.
The project is currently seeing rewrites from Jonathan Tropper, who wrote Levy’s ensemble dramedy This Is Where I Leave You, and began its life as a spec script from writer T.S. Nowlin.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, reports say the film is looking at a fourth-quarter shoot on the East Coast, depending on where things stand with recovery from the current global health crisis.
